I recently used Mercuryo to make a…Scammed via merchant, then account discontinued
I recently used Mercuryo to make a credit card payment (via their checkout) for a service on AI Tool. The payment was processed and converted to USDC, sent to the merchant's wallet successfully. However, the merchant refused to provide the VIP service, claiming the payment was on the "wrong network" (Ethereum instead of Base) and demanded another payment. They said crypto payments are non-refundable. I contacted Mercuryo support, explained the situation (including screenshots of merchant chats and payment receipt), and they initially acknowledged it as potential fraud and escalated it. But then they replied: "We are not officially partnered with this service" and "we have made the difficult decision to discontinue providing our services to you" due to compliance reasons. No refund, no further help, and my ability to use Mercuryo was cut off. This feels like they wash their hands of responsibility when something goes wrong with a high-risk merchant, leaving the customer (me) out of pocket. I was the victim here, but ended up punished with account closure. I understand crypto is irreversible, but as a payment processor, better merchant vetting or buyer protection would help. Avoid using Mercuryo for unknown merchants if you value your account and money.

Pessimi! Fatta transazione. Tutto regolare. Hanno anche il loro codice di avvenuta transazione ma non hanno depositato btc su telegram wallet e neanche mi rimborsano. Mi hanno risposto che non sanno quanto tempo ci vorrà. Si chiama truffa. Sicuramente incassano soldi da più persone ed investono in crypto. Con i grandi numeri i guadagni sono elevati anche in caso di rialzo minimo. Operatori scadenti manco rispondono alle mail

Account closed for no reason
A company I use to purchase crypto uses Mercuryo to take payment. I went through the whole process of verifying my identity and it was accepted. I tried to make a payment and it was flagged by Mercuryo and I was instructed to upload a pic with me holding my payment method. I sent them everything they asked for. I was then sent an email saying my account will be closed and I am permanently banned from using their services. I asked why and this was their response: “Unfortunately, we are unable to share specific details regarding the circumstances that led to this decision.” So they banned me and wouldn’t even tell me why…. So now I don’t even know the mistake I made. They won’t even work with me to fix the problem. Unreal.

I just need help and my situation to be unblocked We made a transaction on your platform on Saturday 20/11/2021 at 14:00 (Purchase of USDT in the amount of 2000 USD) and so far I have not received my funds at all for a crypto transaction the time is getting long. Your support has stated that: 1. the transaction was blocked by mercuryo waiting for validation 2. a concern with the developer to wait until Monday (the funds will be returned) 3. the funds can not be returned as they are put in the mercuryo wallet that I can make a withdrawal (WALLET I HAVE NO ACCESS TO) 4. I can't log in because I don't receive a sms code (support says they have another problem) 5.and when I write to the support it is without any follow up And I don't have a single but from you explaining me the situation now I don't know what to do. "I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP ME TO UNBLOCK THIS SITUATION. Since I don't have access to my Wallet I don't know if the funds are really there and in 1 week the situation is getting desperate for a simple purchase that is normally done instantly.
