MACKAGE @ The Eaton Centre: Form + Function = FABULOUS!
Many thanks to Reynaldo at the Mackage boutique @ the Eaton Centre, Toronto, for another terrific shopping experience. Mackage has always earned my admiration and respect for the quality and design of its clothes. The Eaton Centre boutique is elegant and well-stocked. Reynaldo is a fine representative of the brand. He knows the line extremely well, and offers the shopper his gracious assistance. Purchasing my second Mackage coat, I asked if he could arrange for delivery. The coat (a brand-new Dixon X 2-in-1 – not the store model that I had tried on) arrived within three days, carefully boxed and beautifully presented. When traveling abroad, I’m quick to point out with pride to anyone who asks that Mackage is a Canadian company. Thanks again, Reynaldo, for your kind help, and thank you Mackage for your vision of timeless elegance!

Lost a Loyal Customer
Extremely disappointing experience with Mackage. Less than five years after purchase, my Adali silver fox fur trim began shedding so severely that the coat became essentially unwearable, despite the jacket having been worn fewer than 10 times, never washed, never dry cleaned, and carefully stored. This was clearly a serious quality issue, not normal wear and tear. Despite this, Mackage initially tried to charge me several hundred dollars for repair, insisting the damage was not covered under warranty. I had to repeatedly push back and advocate for myself before finally shipping the coat for inspection at my own expense. Only after they physically assessed it did they acknowledge the severity of the defect and cover the repair under warranty, yet there was still no apology for the incorrect initial assessment or the months of inconvenience. The process was slow, communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up myself. Although the coat was eventually repaired, it was returned carelessly in the same garment bag still filled with loose fur from the original shedding. As someone who has owned multiple Mackage jackets, this experience completely changed my perception of the brand. Poor quality control, frustrating customer service, and lack of accountability have lost them a loyal customer.

Another refund nightmare
Another refund nightmare. Acknowledged receipt of my returns, did not credit my credit card in a timely manner as promised. Blamed the warehouse . I waited another 10 days. No refund. Told to follow up later. I finally filed a dispute via my credit card company. This was the only thing that compelled them to provide a refund. The worst customer service. And I got a lecture on my choice to escalate.
