Dishonest business Awful customer service
I purchased a L23 in ostrich leather while traveling in France. The SA was dishonest about the VAT. He told us the VAT for their bags was 20% and yet at the end it was only 12% instead. It was definitely not a communication error as he pulled out his phone and showed us the price and VAT on his calculator. He also lied about the availability of the bag that he claimed the bag was the only one available in the whole France and yet on the next day when we went to another branch, the other SA confirmed there were actually more stocks with them. After I went back, I found the padlock was not as secure and it just fell off automatically upon the second time I used ( around one month after purchase ) despite taking extra cautions in using the bag already. I went back to the store and requested to PAY for a replacement of the padlock. They refused by claiming it was not a quality issue and was not covered by warranty. I explained to them the lock was not secure and it could just fall off at any time. They told me they have guaranteed quality check before dispatching the bag so there must not have any problem with the lock, and since the lock was lost so they couldn’t examine whether there was any quality issue, therefore they concluded there was no quality issue at all. For the whole time they were being dishonest and dismissive. They disregarded what clients have experienced in reality by claiming they have quality control and refused to uphold their after sales guarantee. It was an upsetting and disappointing experience with Loro Piana.

Que dire de cette maison?
Que dire de cette maison? Une maison qui n'est pas du tout à la hauteur des prix pratiqués sur leur site. Les fameux mocassins summer walk charms qui sont en rupture tout le temps. Ils sont d'une mauvaise qualité. 920€ une paire en cuir de cerf avec un tannage végétal qui part tout seul. J'ai acheté 3 paires. Sur les 3 paires, j'en ai gardé 2. La première paire acheté en janvier 2026, perd sa couleur et sur la tranche devant où il y a la couleur qui arrondit le pied, pas de protection. Pas de pâte de cuir comme sur la maroquinerie. De ce fait, la couleur part. Sur la première paire que j'ai acheté, elles étaient couleur blanches. Donc autant dire que ça avait noirci. J'ai contacté le service client le 9 juin. Au 18 juillet, toujours pas de nouvelles du sav. J'avais décidé de me commander une 3e paire en marron vicuna. Je me suis dit que "les défauts" du tannage ne se verrait pas. J'ai été déçue du délai du sav et j'ai donc renvoyé la paire le 13 juillet. J'ai appelé 2 fois dans la semaine sans avoir de réponse. Aujourd'hui, j'appelle et j'apprend par surprise que pour le moment mon remboursement est en attente car soit disant les mocassins sont abîmés. Comme par hasard, c'est sur les tranches du cuir comme sur les autres mocassins. Je suis furieuse. Ils n'ont même pas prit la peine d'envoyer les semelles extérieures. On voit bien que les mocassins n'ont pas été portés. Je ne les avais même pas essayé. Elles n'ont pas été au contact avec le sol. Je les avais laissé dans leur carton jusqu'à mon retour de vacances et j'avais renvoyé. C'est inadmissible. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais sur ce site ni cette marque. Je déconseille à tout le monde

I was at Loro Piana store in London (Bond street location) back in May. "A huge thank you to the store manager, Faycal Rekkam, for his outstanding service! As a long-term loyal customer of Loro Piana, I am deeply impressed by his professionalism at the Bond Street boutique. After the Miami Bal Harbor shopes store refused to help with my newly purchased there jacket that tore after one wear, Faycal was incredibly helpful and resolved an issue in just two days. This is the true standard of luxury customer care. Highly recommend this store!"
