Ordered the Cortona Linen Straight Trousers and a few other items. Three weeks to arrive, shipped from China — nothing on the site indicates this. What arrived did not match the product photography: the site shows a textured melange linen, the fabric I received is flat and uniform. The inside is full of loose threads and the seams around the waistband and pocket bags are unevenly finished. There is no fibre composition label and no care label of any kind, so I have no way to confirm what the fabric actually is or how to wash it. The site shows the item arriving in a lined branded box with tissue and a wax seal; mine came folded in a plain plastic mailer. On sizing, their guide states that your usual size sits closer to the body and to size up only for a relaxed fit. I ordered my usual size and cannot pull the trousers over my hips. The support exchange is the part worth knowing about. I asked for the return address six times over more than a week. It was refused each time, while every reply described a returns process whose first step is obtaining that address from support. At one point I was told returns go to a European distribution centre, with return shipping quoted at €40–60. When an address was finally provided it was in Guangzhou, China — with no street number and no postal code. The same email instructed me to declare a customs value under €20 to avoid the parcel being held. I declined to file a false customs declaration. Meanwhile the offers escalated: keep the item and buy a replacement at 30%, then a 10% refund, then 20%, then 30%. When I named a settlement figure, they stopped responding to it entirely. I am pursuing this through my card issuer. If you are considering ordering, be aware that the European presentation, the atelier language and the gift-box photographs do not reflect what turns up, and that returning anything means shipping to China at your own expense to an incomplete address.

This company is a low end brand masquerading as Italian designer class. Innovative designs with dismal execution from China. Lead times are extended, months long, sizing has too much variability coupled with a non existent return policy. Stay away!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM Avoid at all costs. Just like all the other 1 star reviews. Cheap china made shoes smelling of glue. Once you want to return they come back with “100 emails of partial refund offers” . Finally you convince them that you really want to send them back. The shoes finally arrive back at their address and they get back to you stating that you have passed the 14 days period of returning them. Of course you pass that timeframe from the day of receiving. 14 days take them to send you 100 emails with offers only… so please avoid at all costs. Luckly my credit card company will get back my money otherwise would be a €400 lost.

This company is garbage. Lie about shipping times. Quality is garbage. I gave them many chances to make my situation right and they refused over and over. Stay away

The worse experience in my life buying…
The worse experience in my life buying their product online (sneakers). It’s a cheap company with cheap products from China. Be extra careful, everything that you see online is made by AI, in reality you will get the worse product after 3 weeks in best scenario and will never be refunded if you return. The customer service contact person is someone named Mich, he will start to convince you extra politely that you did a mistake dealing with them🙂 So avoiding these cheaters is highly recommended. Hope my bad experience will keep many people away with dealing with Leonis Maretti.
