Look, trying to run lifecycle retention flows on this platform has turned into a total headache lately. Their pricing model is completely predatory. They bill you based on outdated subscriber list sizes, so even after you clean house, you're stuck overpaying for profiles that don't exist anymore. And God forbid you hit a sync bug or media library glitch that bloats your storage with duplicate images—support is totally invisible behind useless bots. Total mess for margins.

1 Star — Klaviyo Treats Paying Customers as Disposable Klaviyo’s claim that it “empowers businesses” is absolute corporate bullshit. They terminated my account because my company sells research peptides—not because we sent spam, committed fraud, sold illegal products, or misused their platform. They simply decided they did not approve of my industry, so they took the cowardly corporate route: hide behind a broad “acceptable use” policy, shut down the customer, and pretend it was some noble compliance decision. There was no honest discussion, no reasonable examination of how the business operates, and no meaningful appeal. Their so-called process appears designed to rubber-stamp a decision already made by someone hiding behind a policy document. Klaviyo was perfectly comfortable letting us invest time, money, customer data, integrations, and effort into its platform. Then it decided our business was disposable. That is not “empowering” businesses. It is exploiting their dependence on your platform until your internal risk department decides they are no longer convenient. The arrogance and hypocrisy are staggering. Klaviyo appoints itself judge and jury over which lawful businesses are respectable enough to use email-marketing software, then disguises selective enforcement as corporate responsibility. If it refuses to support an entire legal product category, it should have the backbone to state that restriction clearly before accepting the account—not after the customer has invested in the platform. Every business owner should pay attention. Today, Klaviyo disapproves of research peptides. Tomorrow, it could be supplements, fitness products, financial services, firearms, cannabis-adjacent businesses, alternative medicine, or any other category that makes its compliance department uncomfortable. Your business does not have to violate a rule. Klaviyo can simply decide it no longer likes what you sell. A platform this unpredictable has no business presenting itself as a dependable partner. Powerful software is worthless when the company controlling it can pull the plug based on vague, selectively enforced policies and then refuse to engage like an accountable business. Klaviyo did not merely lose a customer. It proved that no company operating outside the safest, most sanitized corporate categories should trust it with a critical revenue channel. If you value stability, transparency, fair treatment, or control over your customer relationships, stay away from Klaviyo. Build your business on a platform that respects its customers instead of one that takes their money, wastes their time, delivers a moral lecture, and throws them away the moment they become inconvenient. If I could give a negative star I would.

Putting the customer support behind a paywall is appalling! And only when my plan runs out does it start to have unresolvable issues that require support. I am convinced this is intentional! Forums are useless and don't answer your queries. I am moving to a new plat form. Don't recommend and will never use again!
