GREAT SHELL CHANNEL PILOT UPDATE
I have just bought the latest 9th edition of SHELL CHANNEL PILOT by Rachel Sprot. This is a major improved update and really well written, with tons of informative and well presented pictures and charts. Great publication!

Poor returns process
Bought some charts of the BVIs but they only cover part of the BVIs not the complete BVI as expected. Unfortunately there was no picture of the chart on the web shop page to do a pre check. Now the problem comes to return the item… process states contact sales to get a returns form. Sales respond with an out of office email, back in 3 days. Alternatively you can ring the Southampton telephone number, that just beeps twice and cuts you off. My experience so far is bad, they are efficient taking your money poor at dealing with returns..

Excellent charts but....
I really like the charts and the chart collections. However I think their decision, as is the Admiralty's, to stop the production of physical charts flies in the face of all I was taught about safe navigation at sea. Another disappointment with imray is that the digital downloads are only available for one year. It would be far more reasonable to permit continued access to the digital version of the paper chart already purchased.
