Not a good experience with WIRED. The subscription service feels frustrating to use, especially when it comes to accessing content and managing the subscription. Overall, I expected much better service and value for the price.

Though the Wired publication is great, they get a 1 star because they make cancellation IMPOSSIBLE. I have sent around 12 emails trying to cancel, and it's impossible. First, they tell me repeatedly that they cannot locate my account (which is ridiculous because I am simultaneously getting emails from them, pay regularly, can log, etc.), then once they do "find" my account they keep telling me I have to contact other entities to cancel (like using their Chatbot, which is a nightmare). After I FINALLY got someone to claim she had cancelled my account, they STILL keep trying to bill me and send me emails that I need to update my payments for my (very current) subscription that has not been cancelled. UGH!!! Their horrible customer support is what makes them a scam, and for a publication focused on tech their abysmal tech setup is especially shocking.

This is one of the stupidest and most aggravating things I have seen in a while. As you start to read your first article (about three or four sentences into it) before you are getting even close to starting. A sign pops up and says, "You have just read your last free article" which would be great if you were able to read the entire article, but you can't. I understand the whole tease aspect to try to get someone to subscribe so they can read the whole story. But don't tell me that I just read my last free article when I didn't, because you never let me actually see the entire article.its no surprise that they have a one star rating, and never respond to people's reviews on here. No way in hell would I subscribe to their service.

Just like everyone else is saying, they make it very difficult to log in. Each time I talk to a customer service person it's a different person. They won't even consider refunding my $60 for a subscription that doesn't work for me (never lets me read full articles on my mobile even though I subscribed and signed in!) unless I spend $60 worth of my time gathering screenshots. So here I am, heaping more onto the pile of trash that, if I had read it beforehand I never would have subscribed to being with.

First article opened in ~1 year - error: "You’ve read your last free article." (couldn't even read it).

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
