New garage door fitted.
The engineers who fitted the door were very professional and completed the installation in the morning. After installing the door I was instructed on how to regularly maintain the door. Altogether a job well done.

Faulty motor outside warranty
I had a motor on one of my garage doors fail just outside its warranty ( It had also done so within the warranty on 2 occasions but the local fitter had resolved the matter, at my cost). By the time it went for a 3rd time, I had to have it replaced but the original supplier and fitter had sold their business. Leanne Johnston their Commercial Manager has been brilliant. She arranged for a replacement one to be sent to a different Hormann approved local company who were not taking any responsibility for the faulty one ( quite rightly as they hadn't supplied or fitted it). Statutory consumer legislation gives additional rights and protections to all customers outside any guarantee and Leanne complied with that fully. It is perfectly normal that occasionally things go wrong in business; life is not perfect but it is how it is dealt with that either makes or breaks the reputation of a company. Looking at some of the Trust Pilot reviews, it is disappointing to see Hormann has such a low score. They obviously (in my opinion) needs more Leannes:)

Rusting!! 10 year warranty hoax.
My double garage door was fitted around 5 years ago and I’ve noticed it’s rusting on the edges. The door came with a 10 year corrosion warranty. I contacted my original installer and they’re ignoring me. I’ve since contacted Hormann who are using every excuse under the sun. Excuse 1-External factors such as fire, WATER, salts, alkali’s, acids and abnormal effects of the environment aren’t covered. Brilliant excuse- getting wet isn’t covered!! No chemicals or harsh cleaning agents have ever been used on the door. Excuse 2- You’re in a coastal area therefore the warranty is excluded. Their own terms and conditions state that within 2 miles from the sea is classed as coastal. We’re well over 2 miles away. Excuse 3- The installer wasn’t an authorised trade partner so the warranty is excluded. They’ll happily sell their products to anyone but the warranty is worthless unless you’re a trade partner. I’m in the construction trade and the door has been maintained and serviced regularly. This is by far the worst garage door company we’ve used. Should have stuck with SWS doors. Avoid!!

Great Products & Great Company To Deal With 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I have 2 Hormann garage doors on my garage, they look great and operate faultlessly. I recently cracked one of the handles accidentally, I contacted Hormann directly and they very kindly sent me out 2x replacement ones as they have now changed the colour. What better could you ask for? Great company to deal with producing first class products.

A Hormann door less than 1 year old
A Hormann door less than 1 year old. Multiple issues. Motor fails. Door curtain scratched to hell. 6 months and issues still not rectified. Fitted by a reputable company and they have been given the runaround by Hormann. Initially Hormann denied all responsibility. Been waiting months for a new curtain. A new motor as well. Getting close to taking this further. No where worth the £2k we paid for a 3rd rate door/service.
