Don’t buy Hohem products if you care about customer service. I ordered the Hohem V3 iSteady V3 ultra from Hohem’s website on July 18th 2026 and on July 21st, it was shipped through Canada Post. On the same day it was marked as out for delivery. Then 20 minutes later, it was marked as “Item re-routed due to processing error; Possible delay”. It ended up being sent back to the post office. So I opened a ticket with the carrier to find out what happened and called Hohem tech support to get an explanation. They told me they would inquire with the carrier. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me that supervisors do not speak on the phone but that I should hear back from them by email before the end of day as their supervisors are in China. During the night,I heard back from Cassie. She asked me if the package was urgent for a project and if I could be patient waiting for the package. Then the same thing happened the following day, the package was marked out for delivery then 15 minutes later it was marked as “Item re-routed due to processing error; Possible delay” and ended up being sent back to the post office. After reaching out to the supervisor again, she told me that, and i quote here “You deserve a clear explanation and an appropriate solution, not just a request to be patient. I want to be transparent with you.” and that “After receiving your report over the call, we escalated your case to our shipping partner’s escalation team for verification and to expedite the redelivery. We are closely monitoring this and will update you as soon as there is any progress.” She then offered these 2 solutions: “If you are willing to wait for the package to arrive and keep the product, we would be happy to compensate you for the delayed delivery. We have received approval from the manager to issue a refund of $10 (approximately $15 CAD) on your order as compensation” “If you no longer want the product, you can reject the parcel to receive a full refund once it returns to our warehouse. If rejection is unsuccessful, we can provide you with a prepaid return label to send the parcel back for a full refund. Should we have the opportunity to serve you in the future, we would be glad to offer you a personalized discount on a new product.” As you can imagine I wasn’t impressed… I spent hours of my time between being on the phone dealing with the carrier, their customer service and then communicating through emails yet their best offer was a $15 reduction on a $200 plus tax gimbal or get a rebate on a future product. Why would I ever buy another product from this company if this is how they deal with their customers… So I naked her to send me a shipping label so I could send them back the package when I finally get it. The following day, the package was marked as out for delivery, then a few minutes later it was marked as “Customer addressing error found; attempting to correct. Possible delay”. The delivery date was switched to August 11th 2026. Keep in mind that this was on July 23rd. So I immediately wrote back to Cassie to let her know what was happening. Turns out the package was delivered that day. Upon looking at the carrier shipping plastic bag I noticed that Hohem didn’t have the right postal code on the shipment which caused the issues. But of course, things got worse when I opened the plastic bag… The gimbal box had been opened, the manufacturer seal had been removed. The manufacturing wrapper in which the gimbal was supposed to be in was ripped open and half destroyed and the gimbal and remote were fully depleted. So although I bought a brand new gimbal from Hohem’s website, it seems like they sent me a used/open box gimbal. I sent all the picture proof to Cassie. This was her answer: “Your package was dispatched from our partner warehouse in Canada, and all items sent to that warehouse from China are completely shrink-wrapped. We will check the issue you mentioned about the product seeming to have been opened with the warehouse team. We truly apologize for this unfortunate experience.” And in her email was a prepaid shipping label. So now i have to waste more of my time going to Staples, as who has a printer anymore, pay to get it printed then go to the postal office to send it back. At the time of writing this, I haven't heard from support in the past 2 days… So although they promised transparency, they never provided me with any type of explanation as to what happened to the shipment. I figured it out myself, and I received no answer as to why my gimbal wasn’t new… At the end of the day, mistakes will be made but you judge a company by how they respond to issues and in the case of Hohem, they really don’t care about the customer…

Had a problem with my hohem Pro 4 gimbal and after a couple of emails I was very quickly sent another by Kate. The response was very fast, very straight forward and courteous. I can highly recommend their after sales service.

(Hohem M7) Complicated piece of equipment. Unable to use it and whilst trying to learn how to use it, the battery won’t stay . I regret wasting my money on this

I've been using the Hohem iSteady M6 for several months and wanted to share my overall experience. Product Performance: The AI tracking works smoothly, the stabilization is excellent, and the build quality feels professional. It's been reliable for my content creation needs. Customer Service Experience: I had occasion to contact Hohem's support team with a technical question, and they were responsive and professional. Their communication was clear and they handled my inquiry efficiently. Overall Impression: The M6 delivers on its advertised features, and knowing there's solid customer support behind the product gives me confidence in the brand. Recommendation: Would purchase from Hohem again based on both product quality and company professionalism.

Lucky me. I bought a Hohem isteady M7 from a online seller. It worked for a week then suddenly something unusual happened. I thought there was a ghost. My Gimbal sudden turns on then off repeatedly. I turned it on with my phone connected. Everything seems ok. When I powered it down, the behavior repeats. What might be happening. The firmware is updated. Today, seems like my Gimbal is back to normal. I just let my phone on it for the whole night. The battery went down to 50% and it does not power on and off by itself now.
