Find a different solution

We bought an automatic pet door and it worked well for about the first year. Not long after their one year warrentee expired we started to have issues. First the battery back up went out. then the motor went bad. Now, about 2 or 3 years after we purchased it and put it in, the main system board is bad. The dog collars also suck. If you buy the small ones the batteries last about a month, regardless of what they claim. The rechargeable ones last about the same and the charging method has its own issues. Its an ultra crappy charger with no indications on when its charging or not except a red or green light. There's no fast charging, just the cheapest thing they could get their hands . The support is ok, but I might get more done if I wait on hold for the DMV.

I had an amazing experience in…

I had an amazing experience in resolving a problem I was having with electronic collar which operates my Power Pet door. The High Tech Pet representative, Layla, responded to a comment I made and she went out of her way to provide help which resolved the issue. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism, and I will definitely continue to highly recommend this company. We have been using our HTP Power Pet door for years, and it certainly makes our life easier.

5-year Owner - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I’ve owned the automatic pet door for 5 years. I calculate that the door has been used by my dog more than 10,000 times. The door has always worked perfectly. I actually didn’t expect such a long life so I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this product. I highly recommend it.

Complete disappointment with no…

Complete disappointment with no solution and extremely expensive. First, it's not possible to set the door to open and remain open; I have to do that with the app. So, I started using the collars but the door only lets my dogs out and not back in! Next, the door no longer connects to my wifi - after working ok for about 3 months. Customer service is slow and not responsive. I recommend avoiding this company. Expensive and low quality product.
