Secure and reliable video hosting with excellent DRM
I've been using Gumlet to host and deliver video content for my clients. The biggest reason I chose Gumlet was the DRM protection — it supports both Widevine and Fairplay, which means my clients' content is secured across all major browsers and devices. Setting it up was surprisingly simple; no technical expertise needed. The video player is clean, customizable, and looks professional when embedded on client websites. Streaming quality has been consistently good thanks to adaptive bitrate. One small area for improvement would be the dashboard UI — it could be a bit more intuitive when managing a large number of videos. But overall, Gumlet has been a solid and reliable solution that I'd recommend to anyone needing secure video hosting.

Need to send a support ticket if you want to cancel
Site is very easy to use, video has high quality and the import tool works wonderfully good. I took two stars from them because we no longer need the service and found out cancelling or downgrading your account is not as easy as subscribing: there is no option available to cancel and you need to send them a support ticket asking them to cancel your account and they will take up to 3 days to cancel and stop billing you, that alone makes me not recommend them.

Reliable Video Storage with Fast Playback and Enhanced Security
As a small business owner, I needed a dependable solution to store videos that showcase the quality of our work. While exploring various options, I discovered Gumlet. Up to now, it has proven itself to be a reliable platform for video storage and serves as a welcome alternative to services like YouTube or Vimeo. Gumlet lets me choose my preferred video processing resolution, offers fast playback speeds, and includes DRM to keep my videos secure. I also really appreciate the recent redesign of the dashboard, which has made the interface much cleaner and more intuitive. However, it would be beneficial to have additional customization options for the channel's homepage, as well as a wider range of themes to choose from. I find the current low limit for live streaming somewhat disappointing. Additionally, it's unfortunate that a yearly Apple Fairplay subscription is required for DRM. My overall experience with Gumlet as a video hosting provider has been a positive one. Having been able to purchase a lifetime deal, it has proven to be a valuable long-term investment that will save my business money. The implementation was smooth and with their recent upgrade to the backend experience, it is now easier to find all of the controls you need. The company is also responsive and actively working to improving the service, which is promising.

Deutlich bessere Kontrolle und Qualität als mit YouTube-Embeds
Gumlet hat meine Videoeinbettung deutlich professioneller gemacht. Im Unterschied zu YouTube erscheinen nach dem Abspielen keine fremden Inhalte, was die Nutzerführung klar verbessert. Die Einbettung ist sehr einfach, immer responsive und dank Collections lassen sich Videos übersichtlich verwalten. Besonders wertvoll ist die API, mit der sich Videos automatisiert erstellen und steuern lassen. Der Player kann pro Collection angepasst werden und fügt sich sauber ins eigene Design ein. Was mir noch fehlt, ist ein kreatives Tool für auffällige Thumbnails sowie etwas mehr Flexibilität bei den Player-Icons. Insgesamt bietet Gumlet jedoch ein starkes, effizientes und modernes Video-Hosting, das ich für professionellen Content sehr empfehlen kann.
