I’ve been a fan of your White Chocolate…
I’ve been a fan of your White Chocolate Cookie Protein Bars for a long time, which is why I wanted to share some honest feedback. Since the recent recipe update, I genuinely think the taste has become so much worse To The point that it’s like chewing on cardboard. The new version has an artificial aftertaste and just isn’t as enjoyable as the original. One of the things I loved most about the previous version was that it had 23g of protein for just 211 calories. It struck the perfect balance between taste, texture and nutrition. The new version is now 215 calories, still has 23g of protein, but in my opinion it’s a significant step backwards. After comparing the ingredients, it’s clear the recipe has changed substantially. The new bar uses a different protein blend (whey isolate and concentrate instead of milk protein), replaces the original soy and sunflower oils with rapeseed oil, swaps cream powder for skimmed milk powder, removes several ingredients from the original recipe and changes the overall dairy profile. While these changes may have helped manufacturing or reduced costs, they’ve completely changed the flavour and texture of what was my favourite protein bar. The original White Chocolate Cookie bar was genuinely the best protein bar on the market in my opinion. I used to recommend it to friends and buy it regularly, but unfortunately I will never be buying the new version ever again unless they change it back because I simply don’t enjoy the taste. I really hope they’ll take this feedback on board and consider bringing back the original recipe. I know I’m not the only customer who preferred it. In Fact I would say every single Customer would prefer the old recipe taste if they had the chance to try it before grenade changed a good thing into a complete disaster.
