Don't have anything to do with this company
Firstly my order was for £11.95 but they very deviously get you to confirm payment before the final amount shows and mine turned out to be £71.70. I emailed them immediately to say this is not what I ordered and please cancel. I had a reply saying orders are processed immediately and they couldn't cancel. Interestingly I have just read on one of the reviews a reply by Roota saying there is a one hour after ordering in which you can cancel. So another example of Roota adjusting rules to suit themselves. I emailed to cancel within minutes, Anyway I was getting nowhere with emails to them as they were mostly ignored. I decided I would return all six bottles received and get a refund. The address given to me was Netherlands. It cost £17.55 to return and like others it was eventually returned as address unknown by customs. I was offered a 25% refund to keep the goods or to try returning them again. Oh no, I am really going to try returning them to the same address again am I? I decided to go for the 25% and waited ages for this to happen, I have just received this credited to my card after several emails from me. Because they knowingly give you a return address that doesn't exist, it is a pretty sick thing to do allowing customers to waste more money when they know the address is phoney. I firmly believe they should refund everyone's postage costs who had used the seemingly non-existing address. I'm sure they must be liable. What a total scam this company is. Don't have anything to do with them. I think the star system should be changed to allow minus stars they certainly do not deserve even a one star.

I ordered the Hair Roots serum and I was not aware my order was linked to a subscription! I have been charged again 3 months later for a subscription I did not sign up for! I have emailed Helloroota.com still waiting for a response I was not given an order number or any details whatsoever As far as I was concerned this was a one off purchase to try the Roots Hair Serum This was a waste of time and money

Don't do it!
I bought a one time purchase and am being charged for a prescription. I won't be negotiating this - please see the following complaint letter and refund me immediately. Subject: Immediate Subscription Cancellation and Refund Request - Order (strangely no number given!)To Customer Support,I am writing to demand the immediate cancellation of any active subscriptions or recurring shipments linked to my account.I intended to make a one-time purchase only, and the subscription was added without my explicit consent due to a confusing checkout process. I have been charged [£44.85] on [Date28th August 2026] for an unauthorized recurring order.Please confirm in writing that my subscription has been cancelled and that a full refund for this charge has been issued to my original payment method.Name: [Your Name]Order Number: [Your Order Number]. I await your response and a proper contact email where I can give more refund details. Failure to refund or contact will be classed as fraud.

I would suggest not having any dealings…
I would suggest not having any dealings with this company. The product may be amazing, however, I haven’t yet used, ordered 3 month trial, but am already getting a repeat order and money taken from my account. I have tried many, many times to request a refund and my account closed (bank recommended) but still heard nothing, despite email reply saying dealing with and someone would reply within 30 minutes over 4 days ago. Another email sent from me today. It is beyond ridiculous and frankly morally wrong to take unauthorised payment
