es geht nicht schlechter...
es geht nicht schlechter... Die App läuft instabil, bricht permanent ab, die Bedienoberfläche erinnert an Interfaces vor 20 Jahren - unfassbar schlecht... war mein letztes Garmin Gerät...was nützen Lebenslang Updates, wenn die Software, die sie aufspielen soll nicht fundiert nach 3 Jahren...

This will be my last Garmin device
One big reason I chose Garmin is the lifetime map updates. Unfortunately installing those map updates is so frustrating that I rarely attempt it. The app sees my GPS on my PC for the couple of little updates, but it cannot find it for the map update. This has been an issue for over 20 years. I will not buy another Garmin. Not for my truck, my car, or my sailboat. Garmin will point fingers at everything possible, except at their own app. I also think the UI on the device itself is moronic. I have to tap the screen a total of 12 times to adjust the brightness, while driving down the highway in a semi. Absolutely moronic.

updates at max speed of 0.5mb/s with 250mb/s confirmed speedtest connection!!! update takes 10 hours plus and never finishes in one time need to restart installation several times. my connection is great with no issues at all!

Garmin Express and Garmin software in…
Garmin Express and Garmin software in general is a joke. It's like using Windows 95 again. I've spent HOURS trying to get Garmin Express to find my handheld GPS. The OS knows it's there but Garmin's own software cannot find it. It's a complete crapshoot. One time it will find it the next, no dice. Reboots, different cables, rebooting the device etc are all pointless. I will never buy a Garmin device again. This has been a problem for years that they refuse to address.

Garmin Express is a terrible interface
In my experience the Garmin Forerunner watches have been great products. Unfortunately the Garmin Express app that you need to upload and download data to the watches is terrible. It's unstable, the interface is almost unusable and the app itself constantly loses connection. Having spent 5 hours using 2 different desktops, I'm still unable to get it to work. My next smartwatch will be an Apple or Samsung.
