Very disappointing experience with SAS regarding lounge access in Alicante. I purchased a more expensive SAS Plus Smart ticket specifically because it included lounge access. Before purchasing, I checked the lounge information provided through SAS and the SkyTeam information available via the links on their website. Alicante was shown as having an eligible lounge. When I arrived at the lounge, I was refused entry and was told that the lounge did not cooperate with SAS. I contacted SAS and even offered screenshots showing the information that was available to me when I made the booking. I also made it clear that this happened on two separate flights, so there was no question of a duplicate claim. SAS's response was particularly disappointing. Instead of addressing the obvious issue — why was this lounge presented in SAS's information as available to a passenger purchasing a fare with lounge access? — I was simply told that the lounge did not cooperate with SAS and that I had been informed about this at the airport. That completely misses the point. Being informed at the airport that a service I had already paid for was not available does not explain why SAS's own information led me to believe that it was available when I purchased the ticket. SAS then closed the case without properly addressing this question. I am not complaining about the price of a coffee or a lounge visit. I paid extra for a specific benefit, checked the information provided by SAS before purchasing, and was unable to use that benefit. What disappointed me most was not even the original mistake, but the way SAS handled the complaint afterwards. If the information provided by SAS is not reliable enough to determine whether a purchased benefit will actually be available at the airport, passengers should at least be told that clearly before paying extra for it. I have flown with SAS many times and have successfully used lounge access at other airports. Unfortunately, my experience in Alicante — and especially SAS's handling of the complaint — has seriously damaged my confidence in the information provided by the airline.

I was travelling with my family and my 5 year old grandson who has a peanut allergy. We told the flight attendant and an announcement was made at the beginning of the flight that no one should eat peanuts and that they wouldn't be selling them. All good. When leaving the plane after the flight, however, my daughter-in-law noticed that there were peanuts on the floor around their feet where my grandson had been sitting, and his bag and contents were. Huge panic, cleaning of all bags, shoes, books etc to ensure no contamination. She told the flight attendants who weren't bothered at all. Obviously the plane hadn't been cleaned properly. Peanuts are a huge allergen risk so if they are provided/sold on flights, the planes should be cleaned properly inbetween flights. Not impressed at all, and the response of the crew was lacking - hopefully they would have reacted better if my grandson had suffered anaphylaxis mid flight (can't bear to think about that).....

Sinon, ras .

I defy anyone to find their customer feedback form. It is buried SO deep in their website, it is effectively nearly impossible to find DESPITE multiple links within theiur website that indicate feedback - which lead to generic webpages that have no feedback forms or logical navigation to feedback. Then, when they lost our bag, they sent an email with a dead weblink to track it. Even their website where one is supposed to be able to do so....dead link. The most comic aspect is they just recently touted their "SAS partners with Google to improve tracking of missing bags" - I kid you not: Seems like they're trying to emulate Trump airlines.
