My experience with Evolanguage – refund issue after visa refusal
I booked German language courses with Evolanguage for myself and my son ( 2nd December 2025.)Unfortunately, our visa applications were refused by the German Consulate. I emailed Evolanguage on 4 April 2026, requesting cancellation of the courses and a refund. At that time, the course was still more than two months away from its scheduled start date-15 June 2026)However, I did not receive a clear response regarding the cancellation. Because I trusted the institution, I initially assumed that my request would be handled fairly and promptly. Unfortunately, the process became increasingly difficult, and instead of receiving a refund, I was offered alternative options such as postponing or transferring the course. What I find particularly difficult to understand is this: If I had clearly requested cancellation more than two months before the course start date, why was my cancellation request not properly addressed at that time, and why was the course not cancelled? During the same period, I also applied to close my blocked account after the visa refusal. I submitted the refusal letter from the German Consulate, and the money in that account was refunded within approximately two weeks. I am therefore disappointed with how my cancellation and refund request has been handled. I believe customers deserve a clear answer when they make a cancellation request, especially when the request is made well before the course start date. I am sharing my experience so that other students can make an informed decision and carefully review the cancellation and refund conditions before making a payment. Türkiye'de yaşıyorum oğlum ve kendim için 2840 Euro karsılıgında Almanca, dil kursu satın aldım ama vize reddi nedeniyle iptalini ve para iadesini istedim. Vize mektubunu göndermemi istediler, sonrasında sürekli farklı seçenekler sunarak 4 aylık bir süreden beri yazışma yapıyoruz. Bugün para iadesi yapmayacaklarını ve kurs kredisi hakkı olarak ileri tarihlere hakkımız olduğunu yazdılar. Bu durum hukuki değil ve lütfen bu kuruma kayıt olmadan önce şikayetleri inceleyiniz. Ben Incelemediğim için pişmanım.

STAY AWAY RIP OFF
I booked an Online Exam for the 2nd time and unfortunately my Daughter was taken to hospital (Emergency) I emailed them as soon as I could, 7 hours before the Exam explaining the situation! I received an Email saying ok here’s a link to pay the 50€ fee! I spoke to several people and they made it very clear if i don’t pay then i can’t do the Exam that I already paid 190€ for. (Are these people Human) anyway i took the Exam apparently didn’t pass, first I had only 11% then in the next emails I had 75%???then when I asked to see the paper ohhhh he’s not allowed to send it and I need to go to Hamburg to the school. I rang the school and was told to send an Email like always that they never answer. SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF!! I’m not sure how they are allowed to carry on ripping people off.

This school is the worse language i have attended. Total waste of money. Management is bad teachers are more bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Paid to have my daughter attend…
Paid to have my daughter attend language classes and signed up on website. Even though website showed a class available, the school did not offer a class. School did not contact us to tell us there would be no class. Only learned that no class would be offered when my daughter showed up for class on Monday morning. Asked school to refund fee. School refuses and will not explain reason for not offering a refund. Needless to say, will not consider school for any future language training.

The biggest disappointment
This language school was a disappointment for me, the material is not structured, it changes every week and you will understand absolutely nothing, I had to change the first teacher because of his incompetence, and because instead of helping us he was on the phone the whole class. If you really want to learn German do not go to this language school because you are paying for nothing. Good luck.
