Moved in 2 months ago now my air isn't working in the dead of summer and can't get anyone from management to get an havoc company to resolve this problem some so renter beware

Nobody should ever rent from Evernest…
Nobody should ever rent from Evernest or list their property with them. This company is the epitome of incompetence and has predatory practices regarding the return of security deposits. I left my rental spotless (I have photos to prove this) and they withheld over $500 from my security deposit for "cleaning" because the small tray in the fridge water dispenser was "stained". It's not stained, it's plastic and over the years the minerals in the water discolor it. It's not something that can be cleaned off. Absolutely criminal to charge over $500 and have this as their only reason. If you read other reviews online as well as the multiple lawsuits they have against them, you'll see this is a common practice. While living in this property, I was charged for a tiny water spot that occurred in the basement (where there had been water seeping into the house from bad insulation, hvac, WHATEVER it was that they never were able to remedy) This was a documented ongoing issue with this property for years, and they just decided one day to charge me for the maintenance guy spray painting over it, saying the moisture was my fault somehow. I followed up MANY times trying to get the charge removed, and they just stopped responding and then threatened to charge me a late fee if the charge wasn't paid. Again, criminal. I also spent 2 weeks without a functioning kitchen faucet. It was old and just stopped running/was clogged. I tried to call, email, to see when someone would come replace the faucet. At 2 weeks, I was frustrated enough that I went to Home Depot, bought a faucet and installed it myself. It was totally fine, solved the issue. But I literally had to go out and buy a faucet for my RENTAL. I followed up to tell them, and of course, nobody responded. I was thankful to finally move out of this dump, and I see that the listing photos they are currently using are from 10+ years ago. It doesn't represent in any way what the property looks like now. I don't understand how this company even exists, except that they make money by preying upon tenants and swindling home owners, knowing that most people don't have the resources to persue legal action against them. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

AC Broken for over 1.5 years now, no fix
I can say so much but TLDR, I've been renting a property in GA with an broken AC unit. I mistakenly signed a 2 year lease and have been stuck in a home for over 1.5 years now with a house that is 80° due to broken AC. It has not been fixed as of today and I doubt it ever will. Worst experience of my life.

Absolutely horrible property management…
Absolutely horrible property management company. They care very little about about their tenants and ignore maintenance requests for weeks and even months. Communication is non-existent. Staff is oblivious and could care less about the tenants. We will never lease another Evernest property. Gross negligence is the only term for it. Hopefully they find themselves in a lawsuit soon enough. Their negligence is going to lead them down that path sooner or later. I'll be cheering for the plaintiff. I like how they are leaving their own positive reviews trying to make themselves look better too. Nice try.
