Reparatur Rucksack Trolley Eagle creek
Ich habe einen Rucksack Trolley von Eagle creek zur Reparatur geschickt, weil Nähte beidseitig neben den Griffen bei meiner Reise gerissen sind. Das ist eine vorprogrammierte Schwachstelle, es gibt keine Verstärkung. Jetzt habe ich den Rucksack Trolley zurückerhalten, dachte erst, das wäre meine notdürftige per Hand gemachte Naht, aber nein, das war eine per Hand einfach "zugezogene"Naht von Eagle creek. Sie ist sehr ungleich ausgeführt worden und einfach nur zugezogen, nicht verstärkt, das heißt es ist vorprogrammiert, dass sie an der Stelle wieder heißt... Schade, ich hatte mir von Eagle Creek etwas anderes versprochen. Das können andere Hersteller besser,habe zum Beispiel schon ein paar mal Jacken bei Schöffel reparieren lassen, das ist aber eine ganz andere Nummer, alles wird super perfekt gemacht, nichts ist nachher mehr zu sehen....

Non existent customer service
Non existent customer service. I have owned numerous products from Eagle Creek for over a decade. They "used to have good responsive customer service. NO MORE I have a broken zipper and am awaiting repair instructions (over a month and a half) as per their "No Matter What Warranty" They NEVER answer the phone (tried for two weeks) Their warranty service is a scam to sell their products. I am reporting them to the Attorney Generals office for fraud. The recording you get is that their hours are "10 am to 2 pm mountain time" However they do not answer their phone during these hours. BUYER BEWARE. It is not worth paying the premium for their products as you will not receive even basic customer service from them. It's a shame as this used to be an excellent company.

This luggage gets very dirty.
I purchase an Eagle Creek Gear Warrior XE 2 Wheeled 30" in Sand Dune colour and while it as several positive technical features, the outer fabric used features a dobby weave, which has a more textured surface compared to smooth, coated materials. This material attracts dirt very easily and after a few trips involving flights, mine looks pretty disgusting. Worse still, I can't shift the stains with normal cleaning. Consequently, I'm embarrassed to be seen wheeling around this Eagle Creek luggage! Also, I tried to complain that the material was not fit for purpose, but it was dismissed by the company.

March 30th Edit: The replacement bag has arrived and it exceeds expectations - I have modified my number of stars to reflect the over all experience - post contact March 25 Edit: I heard back from the company regarding this issue and while my experience with this bag haven’t changed, I am pleased to say I was happy Eagle Creek reached out regarding my experience. I bought a 65L Eagle Creek Tarmac XE 4- wheel bag. Love their back packs and compression packs so I had very high expectations for my first suitcase. The first trip it was, it came off the luggage carousel missing a wheel. I contacted them and determined it had to be sent to Mo real to make the repair. This was easy. Sadly, it took 9 months for the repaired bag to be returned. The very next trip a wheel came off again, after very first flight leaving me lugging around a 3-wheeled suitcase for a month long trip. A terrible bag!!! Upon arriving home I contacted Eagle Creek Customer service about my experiences. This was over 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing back. I will not be purchasing Eagle Creek again - poor quality and worse, poor customer service.

Worthless lifetime warranty
I have been using Eagle Creek luggage now for over 20 years attaracted by the lifetime warranty. I sent a Bag back with damaged corners, plastic covers had gone hard & split. had the bag for many years but very seldom used. Repairer doesnt have the corners so my warranty claim rejected by EC as 'fair wear & tear'. Save your money, by cheaper and jsut replace when it fails.
