Signing up for free trial with Diet Doctor is Russian Roulette. For sure they will take your money, fast.
I signed up for the 7 day free trial. Then I couldn't find a way to cancel and was charged for a year subscription and I have been trying for weeks to get a refund of my $119.00 that they billed me even though I never agreed to the yearly plan. The monthly plan costs $14.99. But just days after they confiscated my money, they wrote and said they are in bankruptcy, they dont know if they can continue providing services, AND they cant refund me because they were in bankruptcy. NEXT, the founder, Dr. Andres Ernfeld wrote me from DD's customer service email that- voila! they got funding. I again wrote to DD and demanded my refund back they wrote back they are in bankruptcy and because of that they cant refund me. My bank is lazy and just blew off my complaint.

I subscribed to take a 7 day free trial…
I subscribed to take a 7 day free trial with the option after to have a yearly membership with a cost of $119. Their website took my payment details but I was unable to access the site further or make use of the 7 day free trial. I believed there was a problem with the website and my details hadn’t gone through. I found however that the payment details had, as money of $119 had been taken out of my account 7 days later. I then emailed to explaining the above and I wanted a refund as I hadn’t had access to the free trial. I received a generic email back saying I would hear 3 days later. No response after 3 days. I emailed again only to received the same message back from them. Now seems I’m on a revolving 3 day wait for their response. Is this some sort of scam? … I feel it leaves me little choice but to pursue a fraud/scam case.

Update 27/6/26: FINALLY, A FULL REFUND FROM HAVA. They obviously got fed up with my daily messages and negative reviews. It pays to be tenacious.💪 I took a free 7-day trial with Hava nutrition but quickly decided it wasn't much good. I requested to cancel my subscription several times before the trial period was up. They ignored me and took £74.99 from my account anyway. They have ignored every message I've submitted, so I've now informed my bank, who are treating it as FRAUD. Save yourself the hassle. Don't take up the free trial offer. UPDATE 24/6/26: Still no response from this scamming company. But I'm not going to stop until they give me a full refund of the money they 'stole' from me.
