DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THEM!!

DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THEM!! They will lie in order to get a sales, their customer service is not any better. Bought a ring from a port, was told by the store empolyee from the cruise ship that I have 30 days to return for a full refund and they can custom make me another ring. The next day I try returned it and was told I can't. So I'm stuck with two of the same ring and customer service is saying there's nothing they can do. A bunch of crocks!!1

DO NOT BUY...POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!

I bought a couple Tanzanite rings and after a month, the stone fell out of my ring. I was going back to Ensenada so I waited for them to fix it, which they did. HOWEVER, in less than 2 months after their "fix", the stone fell out again except this time the stone was completely lost. I contacted them, but absolutely no response. They are NOT SKILLED CRAFTSMAN. They used unskilled people for creating the rings. DO NOT BUY FROM THEN UNLESS YOU WANT TO LITERALLY THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY.

PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM DI

I upgraded a diamond engagement ring in port in Antigua whilst on a cruise. I was informed the certificate for the diamond would be sent from DI head office once all paperwork had gone through to them. This never appeared until some months later when I chased it up because I discovered 2 little diamonds on the shoulder of the ring were missing. I got a price from a UK jeweller who advised me it would cost approx £100 to repair (I believe these stones were missing from the outset, I'd hardly worn the ring, didn't wear it around the house and I didn't take it with me when I went travelling for 2 months out of the 4 months I'd had it) Anyway, I contacted DI to inform them of the defect and that I could have it repaired for £100. The advice from DI was to send it back to them with full instructions of how to send via FedEx. Imagine my horror when I got a text from FedEx to say I needed to pay £198 in taxes and fees. WTAF? I immediately got in touch with DI (after paying to release my ring from customs) to tell them I wasn't happy and I want a full refund. They were very dismissive, told me I'm responsible for the taxes and offered me a $250 gift certificate to spend with them. It's laughable. I appealed that decision and their response was even more bizarre. They told me it was customer's decision whether or not to declare their items at customs! Are they for real? I followed their instructions to the letter, how could I possibly know it was going to cost me the best part of £200 in taxes, twice what I would have paid to have the repair done by an honest and reputable UK jeweller. And to top it off they up their offer to a $275 gift certificate to spend with them, lol. I again rejected this, told them u followed their instructions for returning the ring therefore they should take responsibility. I've now been ignored. Next step for me is to have the ring evaluated and if it falls far below what they said it was worth I will be starting a Section 75 claim via my credit card company and they can have the ring back. I will be, and I urge others to, go on cruiselines social media pages and advise travellers not to buy from DI, they are a despicable company.

Sold a misrepresented Rolex and refused a refund

I purchased a Rolex Submariner from Diamonds International (Sawgrass Mills) for approximately $21,000, having been told it was an approximately 2020 to 2022 model. It is not; the serial falls in the 2011 to 2020 range and the physical characteristics (40mm case, gold dial text) match the older, discontinued reference, which is worth thousands less than the watch I believed I was buying. Over six weeks (Case 00035705), Diamonds International offered only an exchange with a restocking fee and refused a full refund, despite the watch being unworn and still sealed in its original plastic. The process was slow and evasive. I expected far more from a company selling watches at this price. Buyers: get any Rolex verified directly by Rolex before you pay.

If I could give ZERO stars I would

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Tried to explain to my other half these people are con artists and thieves, but he wasn’t ready to accept that yet. He has spent probably 250k with them over the last 20 years.’ Under 2 years ago we purchased 5k hoops. Within 2 weeks the backings stopped closing and won’t latch properly, so I hesitate to wear them often. We bought an opal necklace and ring set a couple months later. 2 small stones fell out of the ring. I brought it into a DI store 3 months ago and was told they didn’t have any stones that size and to contact CS. We purchased a 7k tennis bracelet about a year ago. It currently is missing a stone! Looks like the ghetto POS that it is. A crown of light diamonds small pinky ring which is currently the only one they will consider evaluating! I literally got it home about 4 months ago and noticed a month later, two stones missing. This ring was nearly 4K. WAY overpriced and overinflated as all their jewelry is!!! Here is the whopper boys and girls. The absolute home run that literally has me considering hiring an Attorney, although I know I’m probably beat. In March of this past year, we purchased a 15K engagement ring in Aruba DI. Just today I looked down, and the LARGE alleged V1 clarity diamond that is the center piece, fell out of the setting! 15k!! These people are criminals!!! To say the least.
