Three DeWalt tools
Three DeWalt tools, three chuck failures — very disappointing I've always considered DeWalt to be a quality, professional-grade brand, which is why I've bought several of their cordless tools. Unfortunately, I've now had three different DeWalt cordless tools suffer failures with their chucks/bit-holding mechanisms. Two of my cordless drills have plastic chucks and both have failed in exactly the same way — they still run perfectly, but the chucks will no longer tighten and hold the drill bit properly. What's particularly frustrating is that one of the drills has hardly been used. And it's not just the drills. I've also got a DeWalt cordless impact driver where the chuck/bit holder has failed. Three tools failing in the same general area is not what I expect from a premium professional tool manufacturer. If this were a single heavily used tool, I could understand it being wear and tear. But having two drills fail in exactly the same way, including one that has barely been used, makes me wonder whether there is a design or quality issue with these chucks. The tools themselves still work, but that's not much use when they can't securely hold the drill or driver bit they're designed to use. I'm contacting DeWalt customer services to see what they are prepared to do about it. I'm hoping they'll recognise that three failures across three tools is more than just bad luck and offer a proper goodwill solution. I've spent a fair amount of money building up a collection of DeWalt cordless tools, but experiences like this make me seriously question whether I should continue buying the brand. DeWalt — I'd really like to see you stand behind your products and put this right.

Dewalt actie met "gratis" accu
Dewalt actie met gratis accu. Machine gekocht in fysieke winkel in Nijverdal. Voor een gratis accu moest ik mij registreren bij DeWalt zelf en dan zou ik de accu rechtstreeks krijgen. Heb mij netjes aangemeld en machine geregistreerd. 1,5 maand later nog steeds niets vernomen, dus even gebeld. Het antwoord was; "sorry meneer, uw registratie is niet helemaal voltooid en de actie is helaas voorbij"...... Blijkbaar hebben ze mijn email adres niet kunnen verifieren, terwijl ik de mail van DeWalt gekregen heb!!?? Die hele digitalisering gaat ons meer en meer ontmenselijken. Hier bij de winkel halen ze ook hun schouders op en kunnen niks voor me betekenen. Degene die nu weer dik profiteren zijn DeWalt én Big-tech, want die hebben nu al mijn gegevens die ze vervolgens weer doorverhandelen. Smerige wereld maken we ervan, bah.

Excellent Service ask to speak with Andres
I got to say that my experience with Dewalt was Great the person I communicated with though email went far and beyond in treating me like a person U see I had a torque wrench that was basically brand new, I had always kept it in a clean building but for some reason it stopped clicking when setting the torque, well really because of the warranty just running out because of owning it a little over a year. all I could hope for was that maybe they made a rebuilt kit for it. but they did not, but this person Andres went far and above to help me in making sure that I was treated with respect and courtesy, he is sending me a one time courtesy gift of a replacement torque wrench, and I did not mention this to Andres but I am big fan of DeWalt tools always have been I could name and name things I own that are DeWalt but to many to name. I will continue to buy tools from DeWalt

Bought an oscillating saw tool
Bought an oscillating saw tool, missing the tool adaptor from original box. Went to seller, Amazon, they referred me to DrWalt as I needed the saw for immediate use on a project. I contacted DeWalt customer services and went through the process of attaching proof of purchase and other information only to be told to go back to Amazon for a full replacement. I responded to “Mark”, customer representative that his solution to receiving the missing part would not work. I have not received a response. So don’t buy DeWalt tools and expect that they stand behind their product.

I cannot even believe I am writing this…
I cannot even believe I am writing this bad review for what used to be a well known brand. I’ve had Dewalt tools for a very long time, soon I will be switching to another brand. In the last couple of years the drill bits have been nothing but issues; coming apart and breaking with just once or twice usage. And I am not even doing hard extensive usage. But what was the final nail in the coffin you may?! Well, I spent 600 dollar on a new gas push mower from Home Depot. The machine started falling apart after the second use. By the third time I had to pull the cord 10x+ just to get it started. Returned it for another one new out of the box, this one was worse, same issue with some part falling off but worse, after only used 4x maybe an hour tops the forward stopped working and the same issue with needing to pull it 10x+ to get it started. Called Dewalt customer care and the person helping me was so rude, it felt as if I was bothering him. Needless to say, he told me it wasn’t Dewalt’s problem and asked I went to Home Depot because it had been over 90 days since I purchased the machine. Again this new machine was one week old used less than an hour. Went back to Home Depot and they told me it was Dewalt’s problem to resolve. After over an hour of negotiating with Home Depot, they agreed to to give me store credit…please do not buy their push mowers or drill bits unless of course you want to be treated like crap and loose your money.
