Fantastic experience I loved how they flew to the UK to do a face to face consultation. The whole experience was straight forward and easy the staff are all so friendly and welcoming I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. Every visit was easy and talked through everything my dentist was truly an amazing lady 100 recommended

Just returned from Antalya and I am very pleased with the result. I never had teeth that looked this good. The staff were all very attentive and pleasant. The female dentist and dental assistant were fabulous. I would call them perfectionists. First visit six months ago was tough. Lots of extractions, bone grafts and sinus lifts. Second visit in August 2026, was a lot easier and I now have all on six implant on upper jaw, two implants on lower jaw and twenty four crowns. All the procedures were explained to me and carried out professionally. Time was taken to allow me to select colour and teeth type. I had loads of x rays and photos. Visited the dentist everyday of my stay. I was ferried from airport to hotel and between hotel and dentist. I would thoroughly recommend Dent LaraCity.

A follow up to the response from Dent…

A follow up to the response from Dent LaraCity: You have completely missed the point. I would not need to visit the Clinic if the crown had not fractured. Therefore I am being told I have to pay for flights and accommodation for a reason that I am not responsible for. I have followed all instructions and advice and as it is just one crown that has fractured, it could be surmised that the crown was faulty. I reiterate that AT NO POINT was I informed that joined crowns were to be used. It was my dentist here who told me the front ones were joined when I asked her why I could not floss. I note that another patient also was not made aware of joined crowns - as stated in his review. As I cannot afford both flights AND accommodation for 4 nights, I am now in the position of not being able to return for the remedial dental treatment I require even though it is through no fault of mine. I had hoped the clinic would cover my accommodation as a gesture of goodwill, but they have declined to do so. So, unless they are prepared to share the cost with me, I cannot genuinely recommend Dent LaraCity.

### Dent Laracity Response Dear Patient, We understand that you are disappointed with the additional travel required and the expenses associated with returning to Antalya. However, we would like to clarify a few important points, as some of the statements in your follow-up review do not accurately reflect the situation. First, we fully acknowledge that the reason you would need to return to our clinic is because a **crown/restoration has fractured**. This is precisely why we offered to carry out the necessary corrective dental treatment at our clinic. We have not refused to address the issue, nor have we asked you to pay for the corrective dental treatment itself. It is also important to make a clear distinction between the **implant and the crown placed on the implant**. As previously explained, it is the crown/restoration that has fractured, not the dental implant itself. The appropriate course of action is therefore to assess the restoration clinically and determine the necessary corrective treatment rather than assuming, without examination, that the restoration was defective. Regarding your statement that you followed all instructions and therefore the crown must have been faulty, we understand your concern. However, it would not be professionally appropriate for either party to determine the cause of a restoration fracture without examining it. A clinical assessment is necessary to establish the reason for the fracture and the appropriate solution. We would also like to reiterate our position regarding the restoration design. Permanent crowns are not placed at our clinic without the patient's involvement. The treatment process includes fitting and trial stages before the final restorations are permanently placed. During these stages, the fit, aesthetics, occlusion and overall suitability of the restorations are assessed, and the patient's approval is obtained before proceeding with permanent placement. Therefore, we cannot agree with the statement that joined crowns were placed completely without your knowledge or involvement. We also cannot comment on another patient's individual treatment without access to that patient's clinical records, as every treatment plan and clinical situation is different. With regard to travel and accommodation expenses, our **written guarantee terms clearly distinguish between the cost of corrective dental treatment and travel-related expenses**. The guarantee provides for the relevant dental treatment to be carried out without an additional treatment charge where the applicable guarantee conditions are met. Flights, accommodation, transportation, meals and other personal travel expenses are not included within the dental treatment guarantee. These conditions are provided to patients in writing and are also explained as part of the treatment process. We understand that returning to Antalya may create an additional financial burden. However, covering accommodation as a goodwill gesture is a separate matter from providing the corrective dental treatment covered by the applicable guarantee terms. Our decision not to cover travel and accommodation expenses does not mean that we are refusing to assist you with the dental issue. Most importantly, **we have offered you the opportunity to return to the clinic so that the restoration can be examined and the necessary corrective treatment can be provided.** This offer remains available. We genuinely regret that you are dissatisfied with this aspect of your experience. Nevertheless, we believe it is important that the situation is represented accurately. Our priority is not to argue with you publicly, but to resolve the clinical issue appropriately and professionally. We remain willing to assess the fractured crown and provide the necessary corrective treatment in accordance with our clinical procedures and applicable guarantee terms.

This is an update from my February 2026…

This is an update from my February 2026 review. Since returning from my treatment (bone grafts, three implants, 26 veneers), I have experienced a few issues. Sensitivity is still meaning I cannot eat or drink hot or iced drinks. I cannot eat anything hard or tough as chewing on my implants (especially the one on my left lower jaw) is uncomfortable. There is also a gap where food gets trapped every time I eat. But most concerning is that one of my implants has chipped even though I cannot eat anything harder than pasta and wear my mouth guard every night. I can live with the other stuff because to be fair my teeth look great, but I can’t live with the broken implant. I contacted the clinic and was told I need to come for four nights. So, including flights and hotel - because although this is a fault with the implant theyvfitted they will not pay my accommodation - plus meals, this will come to around £800. I cannot afford this unplanned for expense. I asked for my accommodation to be covered and was told no. So, as I cannot afford this, I am going to have to live with a sharp, broken implant. Its really not good enough and means I cannot recommend Dent LaraCity as a clinic. It took me literally years to save for my treatment and now this has spoiled the whole experience for me. They also used joined veneers on some of my teeth, without informing me. I wondered why I couldn’t floss and now I know. Poor service.

We would first like to clarify that, upon being informed of the issue, we communicated with you and offered to arrange the necessary corrective treatment at our clinic. Patient satisfaction and addressing any issues that may arise following treatment are always important to us. However, we believe it is important to clarify several points in your review to ensure that the information presented is accurate. First, your review states that your **implant has broken**. We would like to clarify that **it is not the dental implant itself that has fractured, but the crown/restoration placed on top of the implant**. These are clinically different situations. As we have already explained to you, we are prepared to assess the restoration and carry out the necessary corrective treatment at our clinic. We would also like to clarify our **treatment guarantee policy**. Once treatment has been completed, our patients are provided with a written guarantee document, which they are required to review and sign. This document clearly states that, where a treatment covered by the guarantee requires correction, **the necessary dental treatment itself is provided without an additional treatment fee**. It also clearly states that travel-related and personal expenses, including flights, accommodation, transportation and meals, are **not covered under the guarantee**. These terms are not only stated in writing but are also explained verbally to our patients. Therefore, these conditions are not introduced after a problem occurs or withheld from our patients. We would also like to address your statement that some of your crowns were made as **joined crowns/bridges without your knowledge or consent**. This does not reflect our treatment protocol or the way your treatment was carried out. Permanent restorations are not placed without the patient's knowledge and approval. Before final placement, restorations go through the necessary fitting and trial stages, during which factors such as **fit, occlusion, aesthetics, function and patient satisfaction** are assessed. The patient is given the opportunity to review and approve the proposed restoration at the relevant stages of treatment. It would therefore not be possible for permanent restorations to be placed without the patient's knowledge and approval. For this reason, we do not believe it is accurate to suggest that the restorations were unexpectedly made in a joined configuration without your involvement or approval. That said, our intention is not to enter into an argument, but rather to **resolve the issue you have experienced**. We have already invited you to return to our clinic so that the restoration can be assessed and the necessary corrective treatment can be carried out, and this offer remains available. At Dent Laracity, we carry out treatments according to established clinical protocols, with patient involvement and written guarantee conditions. We aim to provide our patients with clear and transparent information before, during and after treatment. We remain committed to addressing the issue with your restoration and providing the necessary corrective treatment in accordance with the terms of your treatment and guarantee. Dent Laracity - - Wow!! what can I say, what a fantastic experience and our results are amazing! honestly the feedback from family, friends & work colleagues has been awesome & in 20 years I've never seen myself & my wife smile so much. Yes it was daunting at the start of our dental journey but our co-ordinators Ahmet & Melek were fantastic, Ekin deserves a shout also, she was so lovely arranging everything, hotel stays etc and then there was our dentist Beren, who simply is a perfectionist, she doesn't stop until everyone is happy, what a credit!! honestly we love them!
