Design problems increase
Last year I bought a Dell XPS Pro Laptop (for the second time after the first died thru overheating). The XPS Pro 16 still has the same design problems as my previous 5-year-old one despite reporting the problem (Shutdown and fingerprint reader are the same key). In addition, the keyboard mouse has been dropped and incorporated into the keyboard frame, meaning right-click is now ambiguous with left-click. and the laptop requires an external keyboard to work. Not good publicity for a firm with a good reputation.

Dell desktop computers have been outstanding for the many years I have owned them. However, the Dell 22 Monitor SE2225HM and likely all their monitors are junk. This Dell 22 died after 4 months and 12 days. It's cheaply made of plastic and wobbles turning it on and off. But in trying to replace it under your whopping 1 year warranty period, you have to go thru 64 questions, send a photo of the monitor plugged in since they don't believe you anyway and all this aggrevation for a lousy $80 monitor? No thanks. I had a spare Acer just in case, plugged it in and was good - make that better - to go. They have all worked great and lasted several years - not a few months.

I had dell rewards points disappeared from my account called multiple times and they kept transferring me to person after person til I got the same person again who then gave me a disconnected phone number to call very unprofessional and shady .

Disappointing Customer Service – No Response After Three Weeks
I contacted Dell because our nonprofit organization was ready to purchase a new computer and needed to have our tax-exempt status applied to the purchase. The Dell representative asked me to provide the documentation required to process the tax exemption, and I promptly submitted everything requested. Since then, more than three weeks have passed. Despite several follow-up emails asking for an update, I have received no response and no information about the status of our request. What makes this particularly frustrating is that we are not even trying to resolve a problem with an existing purchase — we are simply trying to buy a Dell computer. After more than three weeks of waiting and repeated attempts to get a response, we are now considering purchasing from another manufacturer. This has been an extremely disappointing customer service experience and certainly not what I expected from a company like Dell.
