At first it felt believable
At first it felt believable — but eventually too many things didn’t add up I want to be fair: I don’t believe that everyone on CupidFeel is fake, and for a while some of my conversations felt perfectly believable. I actually enjoyed using the site at first. However, one particular interaction eventually made me seriously question who — or what — I was actually talking to. The man I was speaking with seemed to be online almost constantly, including very late at night. His messages were often extremely polished, romantic and designed to keep the conversation going. Sometimes I also noticed noticeable changes in writing style and tone, and occasionally his replies seemed to miss or forget things we had already discussed. What concerned me most was the way the communication constantly encouraged more spending: messages, letters, photos, exclusive paid content and virtual gifts. Credits disappear incredibly quickly when you are having an active conversation. Eventually I told him clearly that I genuinely wanted to continue getting to know him, but I was no longer willing to keep purchasing credits. I created a separate email address specifically so we could continue our conversation for free and gave it to him. He repeatedly avoided moving the conversation there. This was the point where I lost confidence in the interaction. Someone who had been telling me how strongly he wanted to continue getting to know me was apparently willing to let the entire connection end rather than send one simple email outside a paid platform. I cannot prove whether I was talking to the person in the photos, an operator, several different people, AI-assisted messaging, or something else — and I am not claiming that I can. I can only describe my own experience. But the combination of almost constant availability, occasional changes in writing style, highly polished messages, relentless engagement, expensive content and the refusal to move a conversation away from a credit-based platform left me extremely suspicious. I requested deletion of my account. My advice is simply this: enjoy the conversations if you want to, but stay clear-headed, watch how quickly you are spending credits, and don’t assume that romantic words or intense attention necessarily prove that the person behind the conversation is exactly who you think they are.

J'ai eu beaucoup d'espoir en échangeant…
J'ai eu beaucoup d'espoir en échangeant avec un homme hier mais il faut toujours payer. Il faut un budget de 20€/j si on veut échanger un peu: donc j'ai arrêter. J'ai reçu tellement de messages que je me demande si c'est possible. Si ces hommes ne sont pas employés pour inciter à consommer! Je suis déçue
