Very disappointed
Very disappointed - I placed an order for 6 Corgi Models with the Corgi Model Club on June 29th 2026 totalling over £200. 3 of the models had serious defects. The main culprit was a damaged Chitty Chitty Bang Bang model which had the following issues:1)Fender is missing some of its silver paint 2)Front headlights are misaligned & very wonky & they can't be adjusted. Part of the order was a Green Hornet model which had the following issues: 1)The front engine grille that should spring open to release the missile only half opens until extra pressure ie a finger nail or cocktail stick prises it open & 2)the rear boot when opened should shoot out the radar scanner but unfortunately the scanner just sits there. The other problem model was a James Bond Aston Martin which had one of the tyres made too 'baggy' for the wheel. I wrote to Corgi explaining that I could live with the Bond issue & if necessary even the Hornet model but could I return at least the Chitty for a replacement as I still wanted the model but in good order. I included detailed photos of all 3 models for them to view. I was shocked when I received a very terse reply from Corgi Customer Service telling me that I would need to send the model(s) back at my own expense & they would then examine them for defects & return postage would later be refunded (the implication was the refund/replacement would only be forthcoming if they felt the defects were warranted once they examined them!) No mention was made of replacing the models. So I wrote to them again asking if I would get a replacement model if returned. I was told yes but again no assurance how or when or even what their criteria would be for a refund or what the 'examination' process was. I was left feeling very unsure & unconfident what exactly would happen. Considering I had paid over £200 for this order, I felt a simple returns/replacement process guaranteeing me a replacement model once returned would have been fair & expected. Instead the whole process was left very vague & ill-defined & no guarantees were given what would happen or when or what their criteria would be for a replacement. Consequently, I ended up keeping all 6 models but I immediately cancelled my Corgi membership & unfortunately I won't be buying any more. It is a shame as I have a great love for these models & if they could fix their customer service to include things which are standard these days like hassle-free returns for items they have sent out damaged then that would be great. Unfortunately, this is really important & it certainly has sapped my customer confidence in them as a company.

Bought a James Bond model paid extra…
Bought a James Bond model paid extra because I didn’t want to join the club and receive further models, only to find that a further car had been posted, they had put me into the club without my knowledge, (they send an email three days before posting it out, so if you don’t see the email your in the club)now I have sent the car back and they now have to track it down as the wrong address comes up on the web when you look. also the wrong address is on the slip when your car arrives.£25+ postage now out of pocket till they find the car I have sent back

I purchased a 1/48 scale AV-8b+…
I purchased a 1/48 scale AV-8b+ blacksheep model .There is lots of mistakes with this model The refuelling probe was missing even the pictures show one attached on the website.The missile rails are wrong for a usmc version and the outriggers should have a door on them .This is an overpriced model for that many mistakes.

Beware of the Corgi Model Club - not part of Corgi!
Beware model collectors - the Corgi Model Club is a totally separate company and even though they appear on the @Corgi website, they are NOT part of Corgi! I ordered a James Bond (Goldfinger) Aston Martin only to discover that the ejector seat mechanism did not operate correctly and only occasionally sent the 'bad guy' out through the roof - there was also some missing number plate stickers. It was only when I contacted Corgi that I discovered that the Corgi Model Club was in no way associated to them. I then contacted the Corgi Model Club & found their customer service representative to be dismissive, doubting the integrity of my complaint & unhelpful about the next steps. As a consequence I arranged for the model to be returned to them (at my expense), requesting they cancel my membership, refund me for the model, the original postage plus the cost of returning the faulty model. Today, I received two separate notifications of a refund for the car & the original postage, but NOT the return postage cost as per our Consumer Rights Act or any form of apology about their faulty product or missing items. My overall experience has been extremely poor, not even reaching the one star I am obliged to score them. If I cannot purchase direct from Corgi, then I will not bother. I write this review to save other potential customers joining the Corgi Model Club, 1, believing they are actually part of Corgi, and 2, their reaction to their faulty goods.

So I brought 3 batman sets in April …
So I brought 3 batman sets in April on pre order was supposed to be July for dispatch that wasn't a problem. I get a email telling me due to my "high order value" as they put it I've got to print off a form form the email sign and date it and send it back to confirm my order even oh there had my money for over 2 months what a massive £210 treating me like a kid I'm 50 years old your a embarrassment . Then seconds later get a email saying it's now October for the release due to high demand crazy had to demand a refund not been treated like a child sign this never heard such ridiculous rule ever ...lost a customer never will i buy from them and let's see how long it takes to get a refund
