Not worth the headache for extra miles
Anytime dealing with Capital one travel is painful. It is honestly not worth the extra travel miles you get. I only use Capital One Travel as a search engine to compare different airlines prices then book on the actual airlines apps. Their cancelation policies are really bad compared to the airlines. I have 1 more travel credit left to use. I can't wait until I don't have to deal with them anymore.

I would give it zero stars but you have…
I would give it zero stars but you have to give it at least one to post a review. I had an offer for $250 off a booking of a hotel as long as I used it by August 28th. Went online to book and had continual problems, finally booked one but I had to add a traveler. Put my wife down but instead it gave her the reservation rather than me. Went to modify it but could only cancel. When I called I was told can only cancel the reservation not modify it and it turns out that once you cancel the reservation you lose the $250 credit. Will never use them again and may consider getting rid of their credit cards

We rented a vacation rental for our son…
We rented a vacation rental for our son who was visiting. The air conditioner was not working...we are in Galveston, Tx and this was in August. We called the property management company numerous times, they told us they would get it fixed but never did and eventually stopped calling us back. Our son and his wife slept on the floor in our living room. When I called Capital One Travel they offered us a $50 voucher for a future stay in the SAME property. I am waiting for a Chase Travel Card to arrive. We will not be using the credit card again..Very disappointed in Capital One

You can't cancel your booking and you have to deal with airline companies yourself if you book through CapitalOneTravel portal.
I booked my round-trip flights through Capitalonetravel portal, then I realized that it changed to a nearby airport instead of the one I specified after I received the confirmation email. I immediately tried to cancel the flight. CapitalOnetravel directed me to airline company vivaaerobus.com to change or cancel my flight. There I couldn't cancel, so I changed my flight. It allowed me to make change with no price difference but when I checked out. It charged me airport fee of $57. So I called capitalonetravel to resolve the issue and capitalonetravel told me that it was my problem and the agent was very rude.

Do not purchase Capital One Travel Disruption Coverage
Do not under any circumstances purchase flight disruption protection/assistance/insurance through Capital One Travel. We purchased this for a flight and, 2 months prior to the flight date, the airline notified us that the flight had been cancelled without any alternatives. Called Capital One Travel and there is nothing they can do and the protection is not activated unless done within 24 hrs window prior to the flight take off, if at all. Not 25 hrs, 24 hrs. So if a flight cancels on you the best you can hope for is for the airline itself to refund you the money but you will still be out of pocket for the actual flight disruption you purchased from Capital One Travel.
