Extremely disappointing billing and customer support. Avoid them!
I strongly recommend thinking twice before using BookingPress. I contacted them regarding two charges that I did not knowingly authorise. After repeatedly chasing support, they eventually told me they would investigate whether the payments could be refunded, including acknowledging that one may have been incorrectly charged. I responded immediately. Since then, they have effectively stopped communicating with me despite my follow-ups. The most concerning part isn't just the disputed charges — it's how BookingPress has handled the situation. When a company takes recurring payments, customers should be able to expect prompt, transparent support when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend BookingPress and would personally choose another booking platform. If you do use them, carefully monitor your renewals and recurring payments.

Full of bugs, one after the other
The plugin is full of bugs, it cannot be used on a production website. Paying customers are used to debug their software that is not yet production grade. The booking plugin lets customers book time slots where all members of staff are already fully booked, making you lose customer trust. It also does not let customers book in time slots when there is still capacity, making you lose revenue. I have had several technical support tickets in the past month. Technical support is generally responsive and they resolve bugs after a while, but then new bugs come up. I am tired of wasting my time with this plugin, it is an additional job just to identify issues in the booking plugin, report them, explain them to technical support, get it fixed, only to find another one and go through the process again. They will not refund us as we have used the plugin for more than 14 days - even though we have been experiencing one acknowledged bug after another for months. If you value your own time and you would like to focus on running your business as opposed to join a software debugging team, do yourself a favour and find another plugin.
