Beautiful Ring, but Communication Could Have Been Better
I initially left a one-star review because of a frustrating experience during the custom design process. My ring was moved into manufacturing without me receiving a clear final approval notice that the design phase was complete and production was beginning. When I reached out with additional design changes, I was told the ring was already too far into production to make them. For such an important purchase and something we'll have for the rest of our lives, this was extremely disappointing. I have since received the finished ring, however, and I want to update my review to reflect the entire experience. The ring itself came out absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship and detail are excellent, and after seeing it in person, I decided I did not want to pursue any of the modifications I had originally requested. I was also contacted personally by Paul from Best Brilliance after my original review. He took the time to go through my correspondence with the company, acknowledged that I should have received a clear final approval notice before the ring went into production, and told me they have updated their custom-design process to prevent the same communication issue from happening to future customers. I really appreciated him taking my concerns seriously rather than simply dismissing them. Overall, while I still believe the communication surrounding final design approval could have been handled much better, I am extremely happy with the finished ring and appreciate how Best Brilliance ultimately responded to my concerns. The way the situation was handled afterward has also made me comfortable considering working with them again for our wedding bands.
