Sono rimasta profondamente delusa dalla mia esperienza con Bangkok Airways. Prima di arrivare in aeroporto avevamo provato a effettuare il check-in online, ma purtroppo non è stato possibile. Una volta arrivati all’aeroporto di Koh Samui, ci siamo quindi recati al banco del check-in e abbiamo chiesto espressamente di poter avere dei posti vicini, trattandosi di una famiglia con un figlio minore ( volo ko Samui- Bangkok del 24 agosto 2026 alle 11.40). Nonostante le nostre insistenti richieste, ci è stato assegnato un posto diverso a ciascuno di noi, addirittura in file differenti, con la giustificazione che l’aeromobile fosse completamente pieno. La cosa che ci ha lasciati ancora più perplessi è stata scoprire, una volta saliti a bordo, che sia la fila assegnata a mio marito sia quella assegnata a me erano invece completamente libere. Questo ci ha fatto dubitare fortemente della motivazione che ci era stata fornita al banco del check-in e ci ha fatto vivere un’esperienza ancora più spiacevole, soprattutto considerando che viaggiavamo con un figlio minore. Mi dispiace dirlo, ma dopo questa esperienza rivaluto anche l’idea che avevo della proverbiale gentilezza e cortesia dei thailandesi. Mi aspettavo un trattamento molto più attento e disponibile, soprattutto nei confronti di una famiglia. Un’esperienza sicuramente deludente, che mi porterà a valutare con molta attenzione se scegliere nuovamente Bangkok Airways in futuro.

Flight PG169 (BKK to USM
Flight PG169 (BKK to USM, Aug 17) is a masterclass in total disrespect. Delayed twice, pushed to 17:40, and now we are stuck inside the plane on the tarmac past 17:44 while boarding continues. Charging outrageously high prices while Vietnamese airlines offer 3x cheaper flights with far superior, respectful service is a scam. Stop overpromising and treating passengers like garbage

This carrier informs late and not justifying higher prices
This carrier informs you late that they sustain are delay if flights. You have to accept it or not…. If you accept than statistically they fly on time. This is not the case in many situations. The provided information at the airport is lagging, from and to the gate you have to use busses. For elderly people this is quit a problem. The service is almost absent. The prices for tickets are quite high. They justify this by saying that their service level is higher. That is not the case! But at the end for us traveling with low cost carriers is fine, but don’t claim high level of service.

Poor service, but staff are helpful and efficient
Staff are helpful and efficient, but I didn’t have a good experience with Bangkok Airways. I was moved to a later flight, without any explanation, putting at risk my connection with an international flight from BKK. I assumed the flight was cancelled, but when I arrived at USM, I saw that my original flight was active. Trying to get any customer service assistance either through the live chat, or over the phone is next to impossible due to the extensive queuing times. Really poor overall.
