Everything went wrong

Everything went wrong. Wouldnt recommend. I ordered jewellery thinking the store is based in Amsterdam. The first red flag was that it states there's free shipping. But when you go to check out, there's added shipping costs. After I had made the order, I got an order confirmation that stated that they dont ship from EU and VAT/customs are customers responsibility. They didnt state that anywhere on the website before ordering. I immediately sent them an email to cancel my order. They state on their website that you can cancel within 2 hours after ordering. But they sent me an email after a few days that cancellation isnt possible and that my order is already shipped. I told them that's illegal, cause it's customers right to cancel an order. Luckily they apologized and said they're gonna return my payment and I can keep the jewellery for free. But it is not the same thing as cancelling. Cause they didnt return shipping costs or possible vat/duties. So it's not actually free or same thing as the right to cancel. I ordered two necklaces. The other one looked really cheap, like children's jewellery. I didnt even take the tag off or use it. The other broke immediately, when i tried to use it. The jewellery came from China and Bailey Amsterdam is definitely "Temu" dropshipper. So you get low quality at a higher price. You can order the same necklaces from Temu at a cheaper price. EDIT: after their reply to this review. I e-mailed the company when the necklace broke and even sent a pic of it. But I never heard from them again, so that was their warranty. Not that I would want a replacement.

When you contacted us regarding the cancellation, your order had already entered the fulfilment process. After reviewing the situation, we apologized and ultimately provided you with a refund while also allowing you to keep the complete order free of charge. We did this specifically to resolve the situation in your favour rather than leave you dissatisfied. We’re therefore disappointed that the resolution provided is presented here as though we refused to assist you. We’re also sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the jewellery itself. If an item breaks or develops a manufacturing issue, our lifetime warranty applies and we are always happy to provide an appropriate solution. However, we would also like to correct the statement that Bailey Amsterdam is “definitely a Temu dropshipper.” Bailey Amsterdam is not Temu and we do not operate as Temu under another name. Our jewellery is sold as Bailey Amsterdam jewellery, supplied with our own branded packaging and covered by our own lifetime warranty and customer service. We genuinely have a lot of satisfied customers. We fully respect your right to dislike the quality or feel that the products did not meet your expectations. However, we do not believe it is accurate to characterize our business as a “Temu dropshipper” on that basis. Despite the issues surrounding this order, we ultimately refunded you and allowed you to keep both items, and we genuinely tried to resolve the situation fairly. Bailey Amsterdam

Overpriced Chinese jewellery – not worth it

Very disappointing experience. The jewellery sold by Bailey Amsterdam appears to be the same mass-produced jewellery available on Chinese marketplaces for just a few euros but sold here at a significantly higher price. I found the exact same ring on AliExpress and Joom, including the same product code printed on the product image as the code on the packaging I received. The quality is also nothing special –looking cheap and already scratched. The jewelry arrives directly from china in cheap plastic bags. I wouldnt recommend buying from this store.
