Hello Tim
WARNING: AxiaTrade Deep‑Fake Scam – Please Read and Share AxiaTrade used AI to create a deep‑fake advertisement that featured a famous entrepreneur from our country, apparently praising their company. My 68‑year‑old father saw the video, filled in the contact form on the AxiaTrade website, and was subsequently scammed. My dad has always been extremely cautious with money and had never invested before. The scammers used manipulation and almost extortion to convince him to keep investing as t. They first showed fabricated profit figures, then suddenly claimed there were losses that he needed to cover and unfortunately the pressure of the losses was so huge that he kept giving them money for months. They kept saying he needed to add money to close a position and be able to get his money and he got nothing back! Important: AxiaTrade is registered in the Seychelles not at any other country, making it difficult for local authorities to pursue legal action against them. In addition, the company claims to operate from Uruguay, but there is no record of a valid license from the Uruguayan Central Bank (BCU) or any other official regulator. What to Do If You Have Been Scammed? Report It Even if a scam feels impossible to stop, reporting creates a record, helps authorities track the perpetrators, and warns other potential victims. Follow these steps: 1. Local Police – File a fraud report at your nearest police station and keep the reference number. 2. THE MOST IMPORTANT!Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) – Email complaints fsaseychelles.com. The FSA regulates entities registered in the Seychelles and can take regulatory action. 3. Facebook / Instagram – If you saw their add online, open the ad, click “Report Ad,” and select “Scam or Fraud.” This helps remove the ad from the platform and alerts other users. 4. Uruguay – Official Financial‑Sector Complaint Channels 4.1 Dirección Nacional de Ahorro y Crédito (DNAC) – Financial Complaints Portal Visit: link and submit a detailed complaint, attaching all evidence (screenshots, dates, bank statements). 4.2 Fiscalía General del Estado (Fiscalía) – If you believe a criminal offense (fraud, extortion) occurred, you can file a formal denuncia at your local Fiscalía office or through their online portal. Provide the same documentation. 5. Your Bank or Payment Provider – Contact them immediately to request a chargeback or transaction reversal and ask them to flag the merchant as fraudulent. 6. National Consumer Agency or Securities Regulator – Submit a formal complaint to your country’s consumer‑protection or financial‑services regulator. Include all evidence you have collected. What Information to Include in Every Report -Screenshots of the deep‑fake ad, the website, and any messages you received. -Dates and times of each contact with the scammers. -Bank or payment‑gateway statements showing the transferred amounts (obscure personal account numbers). -Any names, phone numbers, email addresses, or URLs the scammers used. Why Reporting Matters? -Creates an official record of the fraud, which investigators can use. -Helps authorities identify and shut down the operation, especially when multiple victims report the same scheme. -Warns other potential victims who might encounter the same ad or contact form. -Puts pressure on platforms (Facebook, Google) to remove deceptive content. -Increases the chance of recovering at least part of the lost money through chargebacks or legal avenues. BE CAREFUL! Related Entities – Similar Companies Under the Same Group AxiaTrade operates under the name Smarttool Trading SC Limited, a Seychelles‑registered company. The public register in the Seychelles shows several other trading‑oriented entities using similar naming conventions that may belong to the same corporate structure, such as: 1. Smarttool Trading SC Limited (the listed operator of AxiaTrade) 2. Global Trading Solutions Ltd. 3. Oceanic Finance Group Ltd. 4. Meridian Trade Services Ltd. These firms often share the same registered address in the Seychelles and may use comparable branding or marketing tactics. Treat any of these sites with the same level of suspicion and follow the reporting steps above. Please Share This Review Pass this information on to family, friends, and community groups, especially older relatives who may be targeted. The more people who know about this scam, the fewer victims there will be. Stay vigilant, always verify the legitimacy of any investment opportunity, and never trust unsolicited offers, no matter how convincing they appear. If you have experienced a similar scam, please comment below or follow the reporting steps outlined above. Together we can make it harder for scammers to operate!
