Powersmart snow blower and parent company, Amerisun.
Purchased a Powersmart snowblower via Walmart. It wouldn’t start. After filling all proof of purchase, they sent me info on an “In-network repair shop. Had the work done, paid the fee. Attempted to contact company several times. Eventually emailed them everything. Was told I would get a refund in 30-60 business days. Now 75+ business days later, still no refund check. Also, has to modify the machine with brackets and caster wheels just to be able to move it on cement/pavement. Even with light, fluffy snow, I can only clear about 1/3 of the claimed cleaning capabilities. Much less with wet, heavy snow. Machine whines badly either way. Not a good company or product.

Never buy Powersmart!
Bought a Powersmart Mower in July of 2024, and the engine is seized. They won't take care of it per their warranty. The only options are to send it to them, or drive 3 hours to the nearest repair shop they use, either choice at my expense. They've not offered any real help, and all the conversations they're basically wanting me to drop it and just eat the $300 I paid.

Good Customer service.
I bought a PowerSmart lawn mower 5 years back. The plastic belt housing broke for some reason and so grass was getting stuck in the drive belt and making it come out. The part was not available on their website anymore for that model. I contacted support through email and they were able to find a compatible part for me to order. They were able to coordinate with the warehouse for my order to get processed. Although the new part is a little different from the original, it seems to fit.

Amerisun or Powersmart go under two…
Amerisun or Powersmart go under two names. I have a Powersmart lawn mower (2 years old, with a 3-year warranty) I needed a front cover for the mower. I ordered it three times (paying for it) and talked to their customer service several times telling me the part was on its way. Finally, service representative said they did not have the part and did not know when they would.
