I was applying for a data center technician position
I was applying for a data center technician position that Akkodis offered me to join another company. I know it’s never a guarantee that a company will get you a position, but I was advised feedback would be provided and no one called me back. Even if I didn’t get the position, it is professional to let the individual know what they could work on for any upcoming interviews.

I had a job offer from Akkodis
I had a job offer from Akkodis, i gave notice for 12 weeks to quiet my employment to join Akkodis. Akkodis UK did SC clearance and very last day of my notice Akkodis cancel my employment contact. So Akkodis make me jobless. Also according to contract there was one week notice to terminate employment in probation period then three months. They said they will pay one week but they haven't paid. Very bad in communication they never reply to my emails. Careful if you are joining Akkodis as employee

Scam-adjacent call center in India
Scam-adjacent call center in India. The recruiter got my interest by promising (in a written email) $31/hr if I got accepted for the role. I interviewed for the role, was liked by the actual company in question, and was offered the role by Akkodis' recruiter...for $25/hr. When I addressed the discrepancy, they ran me through hoops along the lines of "Oh, so sorry, that must be a mistake, we have to check with the hiring manager...". A supervisor finally called me back, told me that the offer was for $25, and then asked me how low I could go when I declined. He offered $29, making it obvious that this was a negotiation, so I planted firmly at $30. The supervisor told me he would have to call me back, and then did the next day...only offering $25/hr again. Such a waste of my time. If you've been promised a number by these folks, rest assured that they will severely shortchange you if you actually get offered the position.

Terribles, Shambolic Company with Deeply Flawed Consultation Process
My experience with Akkodis was extremely disappointing, particularly the way my employment ended. After several years with the company, I was made redundant through what I believe was a deeply flawed consultation process. The consultation meetings were extremely brief and, in my experience, did not provide any meaningful opportunity to explore alternatives to redundancy. Questions I raised were repeatedly deferred or left unanswered, both during the consultation period and after my employment ended. I had to take the initiative to collect the risk of redundancy letter from HR and they didn't even provide the password to it. Both the manager who conducted the meeting, and the HR personnel (not present during meetings) were passing questions to each other rather answering them. Throughout the process, I experienced inconsistencies between what was discussed in meetings and what was later recorded in formal correspondence. Documentation referred to discussions and reviews of redeployment opportunities that, in my recollection, did not take place as described. I repeatedly requested clarification and supporting information but did not receive complete responses. An active internal opportunity remained unresolved when my redundancy was confirmed, yet the redundancy proceeded before I was informed of the outcome. This left me questioning how redeployment had been genuinely considered. Even after my employment ended, I experienced unnecessary delays in receiving basic employment documentation, including payslips, my P45 and confirmation of my holiday pay calculation. This created significant uncertainty at a time when I needed to plan my finances following redundancy. Throughout my employment, I also found management engagement to be minimal. As an engineer working on client projects for several years, meaningful contact with management was rare unless there was an operational issue. Regular communication, career development and employee support were largely absent in my experience. I have since referred the matter to ACAS because I remain concerned about the fairness and transparency of the redundancy process and the company's handling of my post-employment queries. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Akkodis as an employer. I would advise prospective employees to ensure they understand how redundancy, redeployment and employee support are handled before joining the company.
