Booked via Anyvan – they go under the trading name “Easymoves”. I booked them in for an international move, and was promised definite dates, a dedicated point of contact, guidance through customs, a bespoke packing quote, £75k insurance cover, and that they’d received 100% positive feedback. As soon as I paid the booking fee, the rep disappeared, my questions via the messaging platform went unanswered, my "point of contact" Andy never contacted me or answered the phone or responded to messages, and when I finally got through to the office, an exceptionally rude staff member said that my point of contact won't speak to me as he doesn't like speaking to customers. I’d specified dates and made it clear my move/flights/keys handover was set in stone. But once I'd booked, I was told the dates were now up in the air and they'd only give me around 4 days'(!) notice of when my international move would be! The customs guidance and bespoke packing quote never materialised. I got pushback for asking to see the insurance terms, and was initially provided with an out-of-date policy. When I finally got my hands on the actual terms, It then turned out the cover was only a fraction of what had been quoted. And after I booked, AJMovers/EasyMoves had a large number of negative reviews spring up which pre-dated my booking and appear to have been previously suppressed or hidden. Even now, they get removed for "review" by Anyvan. Following all this, of course I cancelled. I’d been advertised full cancellation rights with no liability and a full refund of anything paid so long as I cancelled more than 2 days before the move. I cancelled 15 days before. But they’ve refused a refund, now claiming that the advertised policy is incorrect and it's actually non-refundable. This was never stated at any point prior - I was only ever told it was fully cancellable and refundable. I'm now having to go through the chargeback process via my bank to get the money I’m owed. As far as I can see, they took my money, all but blanked me, and then withheld my money after previously saying it was fully refundable. This seems indistinguishable from methods for scamming people out of booking fees.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. From the very beginning, this was the worst removals experience we have ever had. Communication from Andy was consistently hostile, aggressive and unprofessional. Promises were repeatedly made and then not honoured. They failed to collect on the agreed date and arrived with the wrong vehicle, which already contained another customer's belongings. As a result, many of our possessions had to be left in storage in France. Despite assuring us that delivery on the agreed date was "not a problem", they delivered late. When our belongings finally arrived, numerous items were damaged, several beyond repair. We made every effort to resolve the matter amicably, but liability was denied. Despite repeated requests, no insurance details or claims process were ever provided. We have been left with significant additional costs. Avoid this company. If i could give 0 stars I would.

Great piano transport Paris-London
On short notice, AJ movers helped us get our upright piano from Paris to London. The teams were timely and professional on both ends. We wish we had used them for the full move, and plan to do so next time!
