Same story as all the other 1-star reviews here. I bought a Lifetime Agency license a few years back, only to learn that 'lifetime' means nothing to Adilo. This company cannot be trusted, and I refuse to fall for another subscription plan—especially given how overpriced they are. I've already moved on to a much better replacement for my needs (hint: look up 'Bunny').

Another company that proves it shouldn't be trusted. I also purchased a lifetime deal that is now yanked without warning, and just as other reviewers, I received the same explanation. They did this to "protecting the platform you depend on for the long term". What a load! You just yanked the platform "we" were depending . With "protection" like that we're all in peril. I am fortunate that I never went all-in with Adilo, and that's because from the very beginning I found the platform hit-and-miss. Sometimes the settings would hold, sometimes they wouldn't. But, originally, I would have given them 3-stars. The issues weren't catastrophic but enough to make me wary of relying on them completely. Just in the past couple weeks, I decided to log in and give them another shot, to see if there were improvements. I still had issues with tiny glitches, slow upload speed and settings not holding. But, as before, I worked with it and got the videos and playlists situated. Now, they've completely yanked the deal, and I can upload no more videos unless I subscribe. Why would I give them more money? Why would I trust that the service would be any better or that they won't change the pricing to something completely exhorbitant? They can no longer be trusted. Lifetime deals are hard, I can imagine. One never knows what the future holds, but man, if you make a promise, keep it. If you legitimately can't keep it, then be upfront about it and make some kind of amends that doesn't leave people scrambling to make sure their own companies are protected. If Adilo had any integrity at all, it wouldn't have been thrust upon us without warning or remorse. Yes, LTDs are hard (no one forced you to offer them, I assume), but the LTD customers made sure you had input and cash flow when you needed it. Regardless of how you feel about lifetime deals, if you're looking for a video storage/channel manager, I suggest you choose a different company. The usage issues that stopped me from going all-in with them even though I had a Tier 4 LTD still exist. Adilo's "new" pricing structure isn't the best value out there...and people don't change: If they thought it was all right to sacrifice their LTD customers under the guise of protecting the company "for us", they'll do the same thing to you if they deem it necessary to protect the real thing they were protecting: themselves.

They pulled their lifetime deal and they are constantly claiming their costs are now too high. I will not be purchasing a subscription plan. I already paid ~500 for the lifetime service and now they want me to downgrade the services I recieve for even more money? Should have never created the LTD in the first place if their costs are directly tied to their core service... storage and streaming. They are trying to justify that this isnt deceptive. It is extremely deceptive. At the least they could have honored current LTD customers. I'd rather pay more for an alternative than trust a company that pulls something like this away from the people and businesses that helped them grow. Adilo made the mistake of creating the LTD in the first place and never asking themselves "what if costs go up?". Terrible move for them they deserve all the churn and 1 star reviews theyre getting here. Dont trust them.

After buying the life-time deal some years ago, Adilo worked most of the time pretty well, the support was responsive. However, last year they canceled all LTD and started charging considerable money claiming that the LTD was not sustainable. So far so good, the price was reasonable. However, now they charged my credit card without warning several 100's of USD until Jan 2027, switching me to a subscription for more than 2700 USD per year. Not enough: after I told them that that I'll cancel for January, they charged me another $1,132.71 until January, just to keep my videos online. They treat their customers like ATMs - stay far away from this company!

Hundreds of dollars invested.. To be honest when it worked it worked well, but now I am facing the fact I have to migrate all my content to another system that is reliable. I didn't get a notification of what happened. They have cut my unlimited storage to 50gb because of cost of video hosting/streaming. I purchased this deal at lifetime for several hundred dollars. I could have just used YouTube to embed the videos and reframe it with another provider. No notification on dashboard of what happened. No email update - just emails of other products they're trying to sell. Where's the trust or honour? Ethically unprofessional. Here's the message I got after messaging support: Hello, Lifetime plans now have a limit of 50GB worth of storage. The reason you're seeing that pop-up is because you've reached the limit. Here's what's happening: to keep Adilo running sustainably, new video uploads now require an active subscription plan. Importantly, every video you've already uploaded stays exactly where it is, untouched and fully available, this only affects new uploads going forward. I also want to be honest with you about why. Over the past 6 years, the cost of storage, bandwidth, and encoding has grown to the point where the original lifetime model was no longer sustainable. We genuinely faced two choices: move to a subscription structure so Adilo can keep running reliably for everyone, or shut the platform down altogether. We chose to keep Adilo alive, and that is what this change is about, protecting the platform you depend on for the long term. To keep uploading new videos, you'll need to select a plan. I'm glad to walk you through the options and help you find the one that best fits your usage, just let me know. Best regards, Adilo Support

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
