Very short best before dates
Ordered 2 coffee syrups from A1 coffee. One for use now (vanilla), the other an autumn flavour (pumpkin pie spice). The vanilla had leaked during transit and was unusable and the pumpkin pie spice syrup has a BBF of September - before autumn. Customer services were prompt in their reply and refunded the vanilla syrup as I attached pictures. However they said their policy is that products should have a BBF date of at least 30 days. Useless. Will not be ordering from them again. Ordered some other syrups from another supplier and they have sent products with BBF dates of October 27 and April 29. Suspect A1 coffee buy up stock nearing their end dates and sell .

Dispatch wrong product and would not offer a resolve
Our experience with this company was extremely disappointing. We ordered specific meal trays for a Formula One event because the design was important for the food we were serving. Unfortunately, the trays that arrived were a different profile to those advertised and the ones we ordered. As soon as we discovered the problem, we contacted customer services immediately. We were told to continue trading and send photographs as evidence. Anyone who has worked at a major live event knows it’s impossible to stop serving thousands of customers while trying to source replacement packaging. We had no option but to use the incorrect trays, despite the problems they caused. After providing all the requested photographs and details, the company’s response was simply that the website photos are “for reference only” and that they would only refund any unopened sleeves if returned. That completely misses the point. The issue wasn’t that we changed our mind—it was that the wrong product was supplied. Once trading had started, returning the trays wasn’t an option, and we were left to absorb the consequences. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. What defines a company is how it puts things right. Unfortunately, rather than taking responsibility or offering a fair commercial solution, they chose to rely on small-print disclaimers instead. If you’re buying for a live event or any situation where receiving the correct product is critical, this was not the level of service we expected, and based on our experience, we would look elsewhere in future.

Excellent delivery service and highly competitive prices
I gave a high rating as it was well deserved. I ordered Birchall tea bags. The prices are highly competitive, I couldnt find cheaper. The service was excellent 24 hours between order and delivery. Will most certainly use this company again. Highly recommended

Disappointing customer service
5/3/2026 Very disappointed with customer service. The coffee maid creamers with a use by date of 24/4/2026 are curdling. They have been kept in the box they arrived in & stored in a dry place. Having bought 2 boxes in October3025 their Ts & cs prevent this company from helping me with replacing or refunding me. I will not be using this company again.

Ordered twice from them now
Ordered twice from them now - both Old Brown Java beans advertised as dark roast. The last batch definitely wasn't a dark roast and tasted very bland. Wouldn't order from them again.
